These memories are for family members to request. Request family memories you would like in a timely manner and what is not claimed will be given away to community services or discarded. You are responsible to pick up and transport memories you request (if approved). All promises will be approved by trustees of the estate.

📸 Adding Items

Click the "+ Add Item" button to add a new family memory. You can:

Upload a photo from your device
Take a photo directly with your mobile camera
Add a category and description for the item
Include any historical or sentimental details

🔍 Searching & Filtering

Use the search box to find items by:

Category name (e.g., "Furniture", "Decor")
Item description or name
Who claimed the item

Click the ✕ button to clear the search and see all items.

📋 Sorting Items

Select how you want to organize the items:

Most Recent: Newest items appear first
Category: Organized alphabetically by category
Item Name: Sorted alphabetically by item name
Claimed By: Shows claimed items first, then by claimant name

💚 Claiming Items

Family members can claim items they want to keep or receive. Click the "Claim Item" button and enter your name. The item will show who it's promised to.

💬 Adding Comments

Share stories and memories! Click the "Comments" button to add your thoughts, memories, or additional information about an item.

✏️ Editing Items

Made a mistake or want to update details? Click the edit icon (pencil) on any item to:

Update the item name or description
Change the category
Replace the photo

After saving, the item will appear in the search box so you can see the changes.

🗑️ Deleting Items

Click the delete icon (trash can) to remove an item from the list. This action cannot be undone.

🏷️ Category Filtering

Click on any item's category to quickly filter and see all items in that category.
